about the author

Ian Whitehead is a retired Australian school principal, education writer, cricket fan and grandfather. The Wheels on the Bus: Bedtime Edition came about after four years of singing to his grandchildren this ‘wacky’ animal alphabet version of the popular children’s song. In that time Christopher and Alexander have not tired of hearing it. As bedtime approaches, Alexander, now 5 years old, will point a finger meaningfully in his grandfather’s direction demanding, “Grandpa…you do special Wheels on the Bus.” Wheels on the Bus: Bedtime Edition is best when joyfully sung. Christopher and Alexander are sure you will enjoy this fun book.
